Both democratic candidates will return to the higher tax rates
It is amazing how many people that fall into the categories above think Bush is screwing them and Bill Clinton wasthe greatest President ever. If Obama or Hillary are elected, they both say they will repeal the Bush tax cuts and a
good portion of the people that fall into the categories above haven't a clue this will happen. They will vote for Barack or Hillary and then scream when their take home pay is cut by higher taxes.
The Demos want to tax working folks and give it to the illegal immigrants and other non-working poor. Robin Hood this is not. If people choose not to learn, not to train, not to take advantage of free education, then they have no right to take money from those who worked hard to get where they are today. There is no free ride, except it seems, in a country controlled by the Democrats.
Remember the election in 2006? In just a little over 16 MONTHS ago:
1) Consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2 year high;
2) Regular gasoline sold for $2.19 a gallon;
3) The unemployment rate was 4.5%.
Since voting in a Democratic Congress in 2006 we have seen:
1) Consumer confidence plummet to a 5 year low;
2) The cost of regular gasoline soar to over $3.65 a gallon;
3) Unemployment is up to 5% (a 10% increase);
4) American households have seen $2.3 trillion in equity value evaporate (stock and mutual fund losses);
5) Americans have seen their home equity drop by $1.2 trillion dollars;
6) 1% of American homes are in foreclosure.
America voted for change in 2006, and we got it!
Remember it's Congress that makes laws not the President. He has to work with what's handed to him.
If the Republicans had stayed in control in Congress in 2006, we would now be in a much better economical condition. If we exacerbate the future problem by electing a Democratic President, we will be heading for a recession. War Hero McCain may not be the perfect candidate, but he is so far above our two Marxist-leaning Demos, that, for intelligent voters, there should be no choice.
